At 01:49am on Wednesday 8th November, three fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended an incident on Central Drive, Blackpool. The fire involved the stairwell of a domestic swelling. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and hose reel to extinguish the fire. Firefighters rescued two casualties from the scene and treated them for smoke inhalation.
