At 22:01 three fire engines from South Shore, St Annes and Blackpool attended a persons reported incident on Boscombe Road, Blackpool. The fire involved the living room of a first floor flat and there was one casualty rescued by fire service personnel who was conveyed to hospital. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a positive ventilation unit. Crews were at the scene for almost two hours.
