Three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Darwen attended a fire in a domestic property on Ash Grove in Chorley. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus rescued one casualty and extinguished the fire using one hose reel and a ventilation unit. The casualty was treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation.
