Three fire crews from Lancaster and Morecambe tackled a fire at a house on Granville Road in Lancaster. The fire was on the ground floor in the property and crews quickly brought it under control. They used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and two fans. Fire crews administered first aid to one person at the scene before ambulance crews arrived. Paramedics then transferred the casualty to hospital for treatment. Firefighters were in attendance around ninety minutes.
