At 3:43pm on 19th October, two fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe stations attended a fire at Wenning Place, Lancaster. The incident involved lithium batteries within the kitchen of a terraced property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews were at the scene for thirty minutes.
