Fire crews from Ormskirk were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Wigan Road, Ormskirk. Upon arrival they found there was a slight smell or burning in the property and after investigation found there was an issue with the fan motor in a cooker hood extractor fan. Firefighters made the scene safe and removed the fan from the kitchen. A small tool kit and thermal imaging camera was in use. Crews were in attendance approximately 35 minutes.
