Fire crews from Preston and Penwortham were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Liverpool Road, Pentwortham. On arrival firefighters found the fire involved the bedroom of the property however it had been extinguished. Firefighters treated one casualty at the scene for burns and smoke inhalation prior to ambulance crews arriving at the scene. Firefighters were in attendance approximately 45 minutes.
