At 11:50 two fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended an incident on Andrew Street, Preston. The fire involved a pan on the hob in the kitchen of a domestic property. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel and a positive ventilation fan to extinguish the fire and were detained for forty five minutes.
