At 20:04hrs, two fire crews from Preston and Penwortham responded to a house fire on Northcote Road in Preston. The fire was out on arrival of firefighters, however there was one casualty who received treatment from firefighters. They were treated for minor injuries before being given a precautionary check by ambulance crews. Firefighters were in attendance around forty minutes.
