Fire crews from Rawtenstall were called to reports of a fire at a domestic property on Poplar Street, Haslingden. When firefighters arrived they found the fire involved a tumble dryer in the kitchen of the property. Firefighters used a hose reel and ventilation unit to extinguish the fire and then removed the appliance to outside. Thankfully there were no casualties reported and firefighters were in attendance approximately 30 minutes.
