Two fire engines from Fleetwood and one from Bispham and Blackpool were called to a fire on Knowlsey Crescent, Thornton Cleveleys. On arrival they found the fire involved a domestic property which had spread to the roof. Six firefighters used breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. There was one casualty led to safety by firefighters who was given treatment for suspected smoke inhalation by ambulance crews at the scene. Crews were in attendance approximately two hours and thirty minutes.
