At 16:46 two fire engines from Bacup as well as the aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn attended a domestic property fire comprising of two floors situated above a commercial property. The fire involved the chimney stack and firefighters used an aqua pack to extinguish the fire. Firefighters were at the scene for just over two hours.
