At 08:14 the on 8th of July 2023, two fire engines from Blackburn attended a fire involving household waste in an alleyway which spread to a single storey extension of a domestic property, on Whalley Range, Blackburn. Firefighters extinguished the fire using two hose reels, two breathing apparatus and hand tools. Crews were in attendance for one hour and five minutes.
