Fire crews from Colne and Nelson were called to a domestic property in Knotts Lane, Colne after reports of a dryer on fire in a utility room. When crews arrived the fire was out and so firefighters ensured the scene was safe by removing the dryer and using a ventilation unit to clear the property of smoke. There were no casualties reported. Firefighters were in attendance approximately 15 minutes.
