Three fire engines and crews, two from Blackpool and one from South Shore, responded to a ‘persons reported’ fire at a flat on Laycock Gate, Blackpool. No-one was in fact trapped inside or injured and firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is to be established.
