Two fire engines and crews from Bacup responded to a fire at a house on Edgemoor Close, Shawforth, where the electrical intake wiring had ignited. Firefighters used a dry powder extinguisher to put the fire out and a thermal imaging camera to confirm there was no residual fire. No-one was injured.
