Two fire engines and crews from Burnley were assigned to a fire at a house on Thirlmere Rd Worsthorne-with-Hurstwood where the contents of a frying pan had set alight. The fire was out when firefighters got there. The occupant had inhaled smoke but was not hospitalised.
