At 16:56hrs on 5th May 2020, firefighters from Darwen and Hyndburn fire stations were called to reports of a fire on allotments at Belfield Road, Accrington. On arrivals the crews found three sheds well-alight and extinguished the blaze using a hose reel. Firefighters were in attendance for approximately an hour.
