Two fire engines and crews from Hyndburn and one from Rawtenstall were assigned to a fire involving a shed and polytunnel at allotments on Belfield Road, Accrington. Firefighters used a main jet and hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, which they believe was started deliberately. No-one was injured. Police were notified of the suspected arson.
