Two fire engines and crews, from Rawtenstall and Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service, were assigned to a fire in a 3-storey former mosque, now disused. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, the cause of which is to be established. There were no casualties.
