Two fire engines and crews, from Blackpool and South Shore, responded to a fire in the basement of flats on Palatine Rd Blackpool. Firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire and a portable fan unit to extract the smoke and heat. No-one was injured. Fire cause to be determined.
