Two fire engines and crews from Morecambe were assigned to a fire on the stairwell outside a second-floor flat at Tarnsyke Rd, Ryelands. Firefighters extinguished the fire using a hosereel jet. It was an arson fire. A woman had inhaled smoke and an ambulance was called.
