At 13:09 on 26th October, two fire engines from Tarleton and Leyland attended a fire in the open on Meanygate, Hesketh Bank, Preston. The incident involved a large quantity of wood. Firefighters used two hose reels to extinguish the fire. They were in attendance for one and a quarter hours.
