A fire engine and crew were assigned to a fire involving rubbish in the back yard of a former chippie that had spread to an outbuilding. Firefighters used hosereel and main jets to extinguish the fire. There were no casualties. The fire is believed to have been started deliberately. Police were notified of the suspected arson.
