Two fire engines and crews, from Lytham and St Annes, were assigned to a fire involving a small boat moored at West Beach in the vicinity of Lowther Gardens, Lytham St Annes. Firefighters used a hosereel jet to extinguish the fire, which was started deliberately. No-one was injured. Police notified of the suspected arson.
