Four firefighters from Lancashire Fire And Rescue Service have been deployed to Morocco following the catastrophic earthquake that struck the country over the weekend.

Watch Manager Wayne Ward, crew managers Lindsay Sielski and Ian McGee and Firefighter Rick Cutler flew to Morocco on Sunday night, along with one of our search dogs, Davey B.

The earthquake measuring 6.8 magnitude has led to the deployment of 60 members of the United Kingdom International Search and Rescue (UKISAR) team. The team are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

UKISAR respond to humanitarian accidents and disasters worldwide and provide a search and rescue facility.
