Four fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen were called to a fire in a flat on Bolton Road, Blackburn. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. One person was assessed by paramedics at the scene and the cause of the fire is under a police and fire investigation.
