Three fire engines from South Shore, St Annes and Blackpool were called to a flat fire on Burlington Road West, Blackpool. Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. One casualty was given first aid by firefighters before being assessed by paramedics. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
