At 14:06 two fire engines from Lancaster attended an incident on Main Road, Thurnham. The incident involved a vehicle stuck in flood water. Firefighters used swift water rescue equipment and a sled to rescue four casualties from the flooded vehicle. Firefighters were at the scene for an hour.
