Fire crews from Blackburn alongside the Hazmat Unit from Burnley and our Aerial Support Unit were called to an incident on Horden View, Livesey in Blackburn after receiving reports of a burst water main which was releasing several thousand litres of water and which was affecting five nearby properties. Fire crews used the Hazmat Unit, one major put, one ejector pump and a light portable pump to protect the properties. They also used lighting equipment and some hand tools. Crews were in attendance approximately three and a half hours.
