Two fire engines from Bolton-le-Sands and Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service were called to rescue four dogs and their owner who were stuck in quicksand on the beach at Bolton-le-Sands. Firefighters worked with the coastguard and used inflatable walkways to free the four dogs and a female. No injuries were reported and crews were at the scene for 90 minutes.
