At 18:00 two fire engines from Skelmersdale attended reports of a gas leak on Mayfield Road, Up Holland. Firefighters requested attendance of the police to evacuate the properties within a 50m cordon of the affected property for safety precautions. There are no injuries and Cadent gas are in attendance working on a repair. The aim is to allow residents back into their properties as soon as possible.
