Firefighters from Burnley and Bacup attended reports of a fire on some grassland on a hill side near Gorple Road, Worsthorne, Burnley. On arrival they found an area approximately 50m by 75m on fire. They quickly extinguished the fire using forced air blowers, beaters and aqua packs. Crews were in attendance approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
