Firefighters from Preston were called to reports of a fire in the open near Mitton Drive, Preston. On arrival they found an area of scrubland approximately 100m by 20m on fire. Crews quickly extinguished the fire using aqua packs and beaters. They were in attendance approximately 20 minutes.
