Firefighters from Barnoldswick and Earby fire stations are competing in a ‘hose bashing’ event to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity. Taking place in Barnoldswick town square on 22nd September from 10:30, firefighters will be running out and making up 7,500 metres of hose.

The event has been organised to celebrate The Fire Fighters Charity’s 75th anniversary and the public are welcome to join in to help the firefighters if they want to give it a try themselves.

The Fire Fighters Charity provides a range of services that enhance quality of life for injured serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.

To donate to the charity, text HOSE75 to 70070, followed by the amount you wish to donate.
