Two fires engines from Skelmersdale and one from Wigan attended a fire in the living room of a domestic property, along with a car on the driveway, on Crossfield Road in Skelmersdale. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. An investigation into the cause is now underway.
