Four fire engines from Hyndburn, Haslingden, Rawtenstall and Great Harwood attended a house fire on Manchester Road in Accrington. Firefighters used one hose reel, four breathing apparatus and a positive pressure ventilation unit on the ground floor of the property, which was heavily smoke logged. Crews were on scene for approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
