Four fire engines from Bacup and Rawtenstall were called to a fire in a mid-terraced house on New Line, Bacup. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and an aerial ladder platform from Preston to bring the fire under control. Firefighters are expected to remain at the scene until around lunchtime. The road has been closed by Lancashire Police. No injuries have been reported.
