Two fire engines from Blackburn and one from Darwen were called to a house fire on Elgar Close, Blackburn. Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Two casualties were treated by paramedics for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
