Three fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen were called to a house fire on Oakenhurst Road, Blackburn. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. One person was rescued from the property by firefighters but no further medical treatment was given. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
