Three fire crews from Nelson and Burnley attended a fire at a domestic property on Wood Street, Brierfield. The fire involved an electric scooter inside the property. Crews extinguished the fire using a hose reel and a ventilation unit. There was a casualty at the incident who received treatment from paramedics at the scene for suspected smoke inhalation. Firefighters were in attendance around thirty minutes.
