Two fire engines from Skelmersdale were called to a fire in an outbuilding used to store wood on Higher Lane, Dalton at 09:04. Firefighters used four breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause is being investigated.
