Two fire engines from Leyland and Preston and the aerial ladder platform from Preston were called to a chimney fire on Gloucester Avenue, Farington at 16:55. Firefighters used one hose reel to extinguish the fire and they also used a thermal imaging camera. No injuries were reported.
