Four fire engines and an aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn, Padiham and Burnley attended a house fire on Burnley Road in Hapton. Firefighters extinguished the fire and are due to re-inspect the site later today to ensure no further hot spots remain. An investigation into the cause is underway.
