Two fire engines from Morecambe and Bolton-le-Sands were called to a house fire on Marine Drive, Hest Bank. Firefighters found a fire involving the kitchen and they used four breathing apparatus, a hose reel, ventilation unit and ceiling hook to extinguish the fire. One person suffered smoke inhalation and they were treated by paramedics.
