At 14:37 four fire engines from Preston, Blackburn and Darwen and one aerial drone attended Gib Lane, Hoghton. The fire involved rubbish outside which had spread to two adjoining semi-detached properties. Crews used two jets, one hose reel and four breathing apparatus.
