Two fire engines from Chorley and Leyland attended a house fire on Victoria Park Avenue in Leyland. Firefighters equipped with breathing apparatus used one hose reel and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. They also gave first aid to two casualties suffering from smoke inhalation prior to the arrival of ambulance crews.
