At 16:54hrs on 15th May 2020, three fire engines from Hyndburn and Blackburn attended a house fire on Queen Street Oswaldtwistle. Two hose reels, 4 breathing apparatus, a ventilation fan and thermal imaging camera were used in the operation. Crews remain in attendance damping down and an investigation is underway.
UPDATE – Firefighters extinguished the fire after three hours 45 minutes at the scene. No injuries were reported and the fire is still under investigation
