Four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham and Bamber Bridge were called to a house fire on Andrew Street, Preston. Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels, one jet and two ventilation units to extinguish the fire. North West Ambulance Service staff assessed one casualty at the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
