Four fire engines from Chorley, Penwortham, Bamber Bridge and Leyland, and an aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn, attended a fire in the attic of a terraced house on Glover Close in Ulnes, Walton. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one jet, two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Crews remain at the incident damping down.
